I am an associate professor in Afrikaans descriptive linguistics at the North-West University's Potchefstroom Campus, South Africa.
I specialise in syntax and semantics in Afrikaans and other West-Germanic languages from a constructionalisation perspective, with a particular focus on tense and aspect, impersonalisation strategies, as well as word class categories.
